- Description
- Generally, the work to be performed includes, but is not limited to, the following features to be cleaned and painted: 1. Standpipes, vents, air conditioning units, electrical boxes, conduit, railings, stairs, and steel support structures. 2. Do not paint copper lines, aluminum fins or over equipment identification or information labels. 3. The contractor shall schedule all work with the G.P.O. Schedule: 1. Work schedule: inasmuch as this installation observes a 5-day, 40 hour workweek, Monday through Friday, the contractor shall schedule his working hours to coincide with the working hours of GPO (7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.). 2. This work shall be completed within 90 days after award of contract. A site visit shall be conducted on September 9, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. and at that time drawing no. F-5380 will be issued. Interested bidders must fax their notification of their intent to attend to Beverly Williams, 202-512-0996. To obtain a copy of the solicitation, download from this site. It is the bidder's responsibility for downloading their own copy of this solicitation. Bidders are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of amendments (if any). The contractor must furnish any required performance and payment bonds within ten (10) calendar days after award. An offer guarantee is required in the amount of 20% of the total amount. This solicitation is extended to 9:00AM local time September 23, 2003. The contractor shall acknowledge this modification by signing here___________________________and returning a copy of this modification with bid.
