- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 01 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR GLOBECASTER STUDIO MAX. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to answer the questions associated with the Globecaster Studio Max solicitation as follows: 1) Question: Is this purchase request for supplies only? Answer: Yes, there is no service requested on this solicitation. 2) Question Item # 1: Is the Globecaster Studio Max an ?8000? for 8 inputs or ?4000? for 4 inputs? Answer: One (1) Globecaster Studio Max ?8000? for 8 inputs. 3) Question Item # 1: What model number of input cards are in the Globecaster Studio Max? Answer: Eight (8) input cards are needed: 3 sync video composite; 3 YUV component; and 2 DV I/O. 4) Question Item # 1: What type of output cards are needed in the Globecaster Studio Max? Answer: Three (3) output cards are needed: 1 master multi-format; 1 slave multi-format; and 1 ethernet output. 5) Question Item #2: Request does not specify whether it?s a Dimmable Light or Non-dimmable. Answer: Two (2) Non-Dimmable Flo-Tech Studio 450 Fluorescents 6) Question Item #4: Didn?t specify which temperature for the bulbs. Answer: Eight (8) FLS55TU 55w (tungsten/3200K) Fluorescent bulbs. The K is the KELVIN rating. 7) Question Item #5: Is the Non-Dimmable 450 Studio Light really a ?450? rather than a ?250? because the ?450? model is already listed under item #2, along with bulbs and barndoors? It looks like item #5 should be the same components but for the ?250? model. Answer: Two (2) Non-Dimmable 250 Studio Lights. 8) Question Item #9: Shouldn?t the Mackie 1604 Channel Mixer be a Mackie 1402 VL2 PRO instead? Answer: One (1) Mackie 1402 VL2 PRO Channel Mixer, instead of Mackie 1604. 9) Question Item #10: There are currently 7 different Lavalier Microphones in the SONY line. Which one is desired? Answer: Four (4) SONY Lavalier ECM-77B Microphones are requested. 10) Question Item #12: There are 2 different models from JVC for the SVHS/DV Recorders. Is there a correct part number? Answer: Four (4) JVC SRVS3OU SVHS/DV Recorders are requested. 11) Question Item #13: Does Clear-Corn TR-50 IFB earpieces read correctly? Answer: Two (2) Clear-Com TR-50 IFB intercom ear pieces. The due date for receipt of offers is not extended. This amendment does not change the response date of Friday, September 19, 2003. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on September 19, 2003, 4:30 p.m. local time to Kennedy Space Center, Florida. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet and are in Microsoft Office 97 format and reside on the World Wide Web (WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
