Description
The Federal Correctional Institution (FCI Texarkana) located in Texarkana, Texas is requesting offers under RFQ51502-06-03 for the purchase of one (1) diesel exterior pad mount generator. This solicitation is for a Firm-Fixed Price, Commercial Item, Single Award Contract. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The following information will serve as the solicitation and no other information will be sent out unless specifically requested by calling or faxing a request to Cynthia Seward at (903) 838-4587 ext. 219 or fax at (903) 223-4430. The minimum requirements of this unit is as follows: One (1) new standby, exterior pad mount type generator rated 350 to a 375kW, three (3) phase, 60 Hz, 120/208 volt unit complete with EPA/CARB rated diesel engine, auto-start ready, battery charging alternator, industrial generator with sealed lifetime bearing, 12-lead reconnectable model, can be reconnected to provide 120/208, brush less (no maintenance, with automatic voltage regulation, skid and vibration isolators, dry type air filter, main circuit breaker, industrial silencer, digital control. Safety shut-downs for low oil pressure, high water temperature, low water level, over-speed and over-crank. Battery tray, cables, battery and weather-proof enclosure. Two (2)year warranty. The successful bidder shall provide a Service Representative to be on -site for the initial start-up of the new generator. Furnish and deliver one (1) new automatic transfer switch, 1200 amp, NEMA 3R. The Government will make award to the responsible Offeror whose offer conforms to this solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government. The proposed cost or price must include all associated charges or fees and delivery cost (FOB Destination) to FCI Texarkana, 4001 Leopard Drive, Texarkana, Texas 75501.
