- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 21 plans to contract for the VA Pacific Islands Health Care System, Honolulu, Hawaii, Pacific Telehealth & Technology HUI with Lifescience Resources P. O. Box 379 Hoolehua, Hawaii 96729 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 for services to upgrade the existing hardware and software for the MPACS (Motion Picture Archiving and Communications System employing the MPEG2 Video Compression Technology, at Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC), this will allow for expansion of services and connectivity between TAMC, VA Pacific Islands Health Care System (including all islands) as well as the Naval Hospitals in Guam and Okinawa to send and archive digital echocardiograms for diagnoses by a certified cardiologist. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal; no solicitation will be issued. NAICS Code 334111 applies with size standard of 1,000 employees.
