Description
Due: N/A POC Sandra K. Perkins (708) 786-4958 Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) FSC Group 65, Part II, Section F, Patient Mobility Devices (Includes Wheelchairs, Scooters, Walkers, etc.). FOB Destination 48 contiguous states, District of Columbia and Point of Exportation or optional provisions for Destination - Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico and Overseas locations. Negotiated Procurement, Fixed Price, Indefinite-Delivery-Indefinite-Quantity type of contract with an Economic Price Adjustment provision. Economic price adjustments are allowed after contract award in conjunction with company's commercial practices. Multiple Award, SIC 3842 Small Business Size 500 applies. Issue Date on or about September 1, 2003. This is a standing solicitation and does not contain a closing date. Contracts awarded will have variable contract periods. The contract performance period begins on the DATE OF AWARD (DOA) and expires five years from that date unless cancelled, terminated, or extended pursuant to any option provisions included in the contract. All contracts under this Multiple Award Schedule solicitation will include an option to extend the term of the contract. The option clause may be exercised more than once, but the total extension of the schedule period shall not exceed five years. The Government will award contracts for identical brand name items to more than one contractor when offers are determined to be fair and reasonable to the Government. This solicitation contains a Special Item Number (SIN)for the introduction of new products (INP). --See note 12.
