Description
Federal Supply Schedule FSC Group 65, Part V, Section A, X-Ray Equipment and Supplies (Including Medical and Dental X-Ray Film), F.O.B. Destination within the 48 contiguous states and the District of Columbia and optional provisions for F.O.B. Destination to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Overseas location. Fixed-price Indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity type contracts with Economic Price Adjustment provision. Multiple Awards. Small business size standard of 500 applies. Issue date will be on or about August 1, 2003. Solicitation RFP-797-655A-03-0001 is a standing solicitation. The solicitation will be issued on an open-and-continuous basis and will not contain a closing date for receipt of offers. New offers may be submitted at any time. This Federal Supply Schedule will not have a prescribed beginning and ending date. The schedule period is continuous. There will be variable performance periods for individual contracts. Contract performance will commence on the date of award (DOA) and expire five years from that date, unless cancelled, terminated, or extended pursuant to any option provisions included in the contract. All contracts under this Multiple Award Schedule solicitation will include an option to extend the term of the contract. The option clause may be exercised more than once, but the total extension of the contract period shall not exceed five years. The Government will award contracts for identical brand name items when offers are determined to be fair and reasonable to the Government. Economic price adjustments will be allowed in conjuction with the contractor's commerical practices. The solicitation contains a Special Item Number (SIN) for the introduction of new products (INP). All contracts will include the Industrial Funding Fee requirement. See Note 12.
