- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial items for Teamboards and projector systems: ///Item 0001 ? Teamboard with 5-year warranty, Manufactured by Egan Teamboard Inc, P/N TMWM6048CLUB (or approved equal), 6 each ///Item 0002 ? Teamboard Installation, 6 each. All work must be accomplished in accordance with attached Statement of Work. ///Item 0003 ? Projector with 2-year warranty, Manufactured by Toshiba, P/N TLP-T720U (or approved equal), 6 each ///Item 0004 ? Projector Installation and mounting hardware to include cables, 6 each. All work must be accomplished in accordance with attached Statement of Work. This combined synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ FUB3CC32260100. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Quotes will be evaluated on price related factors only. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. The North American Industrial Classification Standard is 334119; the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. Destination for delivery is 300 Summit Drive, Minot AFB, ND 58705. The following provisions and clause apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal; FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Specifically, the following clauses cited are applicable to this solicitation: FAR 52.222-21, Prohibition on Segregated Facilities; FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; FAR 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; FAR 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers; FAR 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; FAR 52.222-19, Child Labor-Cooperation with Authorities and Remedies; FAR 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer - CCR. The clause at DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Specifically, the following clauses, cited are applicable to this solicitation: DFARS 252.225- 7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program. All quotes must be emailed to TSgt Tony Aparicio at anthony.aparicio@minot.af.mil, faxed to DSN 453-4172, COMM (701) 723-4172, hand carried or mailed to 211 Missile Ave., Minot AFB, ND 58705. Quotes are required to be received no later than 12:00 PM CST, Tuesday, September 23, 2003. 23BS Briefing Room Interactive Teamboard / Projector Installation Statement of Work 1. The 23d Bomb Squadron, Minot AFB, ND, requires installation of six (6) Teamboards and overhead computer projector installations to support the briefing room interactive (BRI) collaborative mission planning, briefing, and debriefing effort. Equipment and services with be purchased or provided as outlined below. 2. The 23d Bomb Squadron will provide six (6) desktop PC computers preloaded with Windows NT 4.0 Workstation or Windows 2000 Workstation operating system software. Each computer will also include Microsoft Office 2000 or Microsoft Office XP application software, a desktop monitor, PS/2 style keyboard, PS/2 style mouse, and additional USAF software (FormFlow, Norton Anti-virus, Portable Flight Planning System, etc.). 3. The 23d Bomb Squadron will provide (or separately execute facility modifications where not already in place) a 60Hz / 120VAC outlet near the intended location of each (a) Teamboard, (b) ceiling mounted overhead projector, and (c) connected desktop computer terminal listed in paragraph (2). 4. The contractor will supply six (6) Teamboards (Egan Teamboard Inc. model TMWM6048CLUB, or approved equal) with associated installation labor and hardware and six (6) overhead projectors (Toshiba model TLP?T720U, or approved equal) with associated installation labor and hardware. Contractor purchased hardware and installation materials may be delivered to the contractor provided an authorized computer equipment custodian signs the final deliverable equipment invoice upon completion of the installation and functional configuration. Otherwise, hardware and installation materials may be delivered to the 23d Bomb Squadron directly and received be the authorized computer equipment custodian (SrA Rixon Hamilton) to be installed and configured by the contractor at a later date. The contractor will provide a 1-year warranty on the complete system and will respond to repair calls within 48 hours. 5. The contractor will install and configure hardware listed in paragraph (4) and its associated driver software for basic interoperability with hardware and software listed in paragraph (2). Functionally, the remote control provided with the overhead projector must provide basic command (right/left-click, mouse control, slide advance, etc.) signals to the driving computer listed in paragraph (2). Physically, signal connections to and from the Teamboard and Projector must terminate at single patch panel to be located within 30 feet of both pieces of equipment towards the ?rear? of room relative to the projected image and Teamboard. The contractor will provide cabling from the computers listed in paragraph (2) to the patch panel.
