Description
NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes a re requested; however, a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number DABJ25-03-T-0093 is applicable and is issued as a request for quotations. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal A cquisition Circular 2001-15. This requirement is small business set-aside with a NAICS Code of 423120; size standard of 100. The description of the commercial item is as follows: Clin 0001 reads: Purchase of one (1) each Custom Built 40 foot Shop Trai ler, with the following minimum Salient Characteristics: Warranty 1 year minimum. Overall height will be 141 inches; tail/stop and exterior lights will be 12 and 24 volt, wired to accept military standard 24 volt tail lights with blackout markers; exter ior lights to meet FED DOT regulations; exterior tie down and lift points for movement of trailer by line haul, rail or air transport; retractable and stowable landing legs; lockable curb side personnel door; Lockable rear personnel door, 37 inches wide; b oth doors locked with single lever inside and outside dogged at lever, top and bottom; curbside door and rear door will have detachable and stowable personnel platforms; curbside and rear door will have detachable and stowable steps to each platform; tires and wheels standard 6-hole pattern with non-directional radial steel belted tires; one spare, stowable; dual axle, non-moveable; air ride King Pin; air ride rear suspension. Below Deck Storage: 98 inch long x 89 inch wide x 18 inches height; lockable acce ss doors, both sides; vented; minimum 18 inch ground clearance; power access box: lockable access door flush with exterior width; 120/208 VAC power connection inlet; standard 155 V, dual outlet; necessary ground terminals; Communication Access Box: Lockabl e access door flush with exterior width; standard military WD-1 wire connectors; standard industry telephone connectors; standard industry fiber optic data link connection; necessary ground terminals; rear leveling jacks, manual; removable side awning to provide outside covered workspace mounted on curbside 18 foot long x 10 feet wide, vinyl dark green or black with supports and tie down eyelets; painted in primer only; Interior: insulated walls and ceiling not to exceed depth of trailer ribs; 1.5 tongue a nd grove wood flooring; linoleum floor tile covering; ducted ventilation system; HVAC units sized to provide adequate circulation to entire trailer (app 18,000 BTU); units to be mounted to exterior front of trailer and of such strength to support unit(s) d uring movement; no higher than top or wider than widest dimension of trailer and not to interfere with clearance to prime mover; Interior lighting (fluorescent) to provide adequate lighting through entire trailer; sleeping section in front to be switched s eparately from working section; switching to provide for automatic blackout lights to activate and overhead white lights to switch off when any door is opened. Switch to turn off or on blackout system; Interior height not to be less than 80 inches; 115 V, 2 plex outlets in bar strip form at 4 foot intervals at wall/ceiling joint on both sides of trailer; kem-lite wall or similar wall covering; ceiling covered in acoustical panels or similar covering; tie down points at 5 foot intervals, both sides at 3 and 6 foot heights; installed parts and tool cabinets 8 each Stanley Vidmar (or equivalent, compatible with shop cabinets) Model 340, various drawer configurations, lockable; installed work station, 1 each, Stanley Vidmar Type D-4, (or equivalent) hardwood to p, 96 inch span, Model ST 96, lockable. installed flammable storage cabinet, 1 each, Stanley Vidmar, (or equivalent) Model FLC30SC, lockable; installed shelf ca binet, 1 each, Stanley Vidmar, (or equivalent) Model XWSD340, lockable; installed work station, 1 each, Stanley Vidmar, (or equivalent) Type A-5 laminate top 60 inch, Model PLR60, lockable; front interior will have 6 bunk beds, 3 per side, 86 inch length; bunks will have a stow position when not in use; Three (3) feet deep enclosed storage space across front interior, lockable access door; mounted front, center and rear emergency lights; smoke detector and carbon monoxide detectors; mounted front and rear 2 .5 lb fire extinguisher, ABC Class; mounted front 10-person industrial first aid kit State delivery time after receipt of order. Shipping will be to DOL Central Receiving Point, Fort Lewis, WA 98433-9500. Any contract entered into resulting from this request for quotations will be with a responsive, responsible quoter using a SF1449. Quotes will be evaluated on low price, technically acceptable. Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Addenda to this provision are applicable, in which the term offeror, whenever it appears, shall be replaced with the term quoter; paragraphs (g) and (h) are deleted. Quoters are required to submit completed copies of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Represent ations and Certifications-Commercial Items, and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications ?????? Commercial Items, with their quotes. FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and does not include any addenda. FAR clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders, Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following clauses within 52.212-5 are applicable to this acquisition: 52.203-6, 52.219-4, 52.219-8, 52.222-3, 52.222-19, 52.222.21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-13, (JUL 2000) DoD deviation), and 52.232-33. FAR clause 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal is applicable. DFARS clauses 252.204-7004, Required C entral Contractor Registration, is applicable. DFARS clause 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items are applicable, to include the following clau ses (a) 52.203-3, (b) 252.225-7012, 252.225-7021, 252.225-7036, 252.232-7003, 252.243-7002, 252.247-7023, 252.247-7024.
