Description

(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; this is a notice of intent to procure sole-source software from Kana Software, Inc., a quote is requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation # DHQCNT03MP60049. This solicitation is a Request For Quote(RFQ). (iii) The RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 15 (7-24-03) and Defense Change Notice 20030821. (iv) This requirement is sole-source for Kana Software. The resultant contract will be awarded for Kana Software as listed below. The NAICS is 541519, other Computer Related Services. Size Standard is $21M average annual receipts over past three years. (v)(vi) CLIN 0001: One (1) license, Kana ResponseIQ Application Server V7.0.1, Part 10018,; CLIN 0002: Kana ResponseIQ Development License, Part 10013; CLIN 0003 100 Concurrent User Licenses, Part 10012. (vii) Required Period of coverage for warranty/maintenance is one year (anticipated from 10/1/03 through 9/30/03). Delivery is to 5775 DTC Blvd, Suite 350, Greenwood Village, CO 80111. (viii) FAR 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Item, applies to this acquisition. (ix) FAR 52.212-2 does not apply to this sole source acquisition. (x) Quotes shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Item (excluding paragraph ?b?); DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Item. (xi) FAR 52.212-4 Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition (xii) FAR 52.212-5(Deviation) Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items: 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity ; 52.222-35, Equal Opportunity For Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans of the Vietnam Era, and other Eligible Veterans ; 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disablities; 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans of the Vietnam Era and other Eligible Veterans applies to this acquisition. The contract type will be a firm fixed price. All unit prices are firm fixed. (xvi) Proposals are due no later than 4:00 p.m. local time, September 26, 2003.
