Description
** Please note that the following change has been made to this solicitation, the item was calling for a 160 ton unit, this should be a 60 ton unit.This change has been incoroprated.** This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR, Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. F14164-03-Q-0162 is a request for quotation (RFQ). The Solicitation Document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-15, Effective 24 Jul 2003. Notice To Offerors: The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation RFQ either before or after the RFQ closing date. The solicitation is 100% Small Business set aside. The NAICS/SIC code is 42173/5075 and the small business size standard is ?1000 employees.? This solicitation is for the following: CLIN 0001: MFG: CARRIER MFG P/N: 30AH064 or Equal, l60 Ton 208/230 Volt 30 Air Cooled Condensing Unit with Dual Circuit with low ambient control and hail guards. Qty. 1 Offers are to be submitted pursuant 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items Submission of Offers. 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items (Jan 1999). The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirements and price. Technical capability shall be evaluated approximately equal to cost or price. Awards shall be made to the offeror who provides the overall best value to the government. Offerors shall provide the information required in 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, with its offer. Delivery and acceptance shall be approximately 30 days after receipt of award FOB McConnell AFB. The clauses at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. The Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), before the specified expiration time of the offer, whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award. 52.252-1 Solicitation Provisions Incorporated By Reference (Feb 1998).
