Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, and FAR 13 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATIONS; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 314999. The solicitation number N61755-03-Q-0211. The requirement is for 800 EA, TIE DOWN ASSEMBLY, 3"W Web Synthetic Nylon material, 15,000 LBS Breaking Strength, 5,000 LBS Safe Working Load (SWL) or Working Load Limit (WLL), Assembly must be proof tested to 5,000 LBS, 3" Flat Hook Steel Zinc plated, 3"W x 13" L Ratchet Buckle is Steel Zinc Plated, 18"L Protective Sleeve Cordura Nylon material, 60" x 300" Overall Adjustment Length, 28"L Fixed End Length, All surface finishes provided good corrosion protection, Assembly Tagged with Company Name - Date -Safe Working Load (SWL) PROVISIONS AND CLAUSES INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with the provisions and clauses contained herein. Clause information can be downloaded from the Internet from the following addresses: http://www.arnet.gov/far/. The following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provisions are applicable to the acquisitions: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offers-Commercial Items; 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items and Defense Federal Acquisition Supplement (DFAR) 252.212.7000 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items are applicable to this requirement and offerors shall include a completed copy of the Representations and Certifications with their bid. The following FAR Clauses are applicable to this acquisition: 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Require to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, with the following clauses being applicable to the solicitation: 52.203-6 Alt I, 52.222-26, 52.232-33, 52.222-36, 52.247-64, and 52.222-35; 52.219-6 Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside; 52.252.2 Clauses Incorporated by Reference 52.252.6 Authorized Deviations in Clauses. Additionally, DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration; 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statues Applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items, with the clause 252.225-7024 applicable. ALL INQUIRIES AND CONCERNS MUST BE ADDRESSED IN WRITING and may be sent via fax: (671) 339-3234, attn: Lorraine Unpingco or via email: n8152@guam.navy.mil. At a minimum, responsible sources should provide this office, a price quote on letterhead signed by an individual authorized to bind the organization for the requested items. Quotes shall be submitted showing unit price and extended price, prompt payment terms, remittance address, Tax I.D, #, Duns #, Cage code and a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 QUOTES ARE DUE no later than 1:00 p.m. (Local Guam Time), 24 September 2003. Offerors can be faxed to (671) 339-3234. Late quotations will not be accepted. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered. PROSPECTIVE CONTRACTORS MUST REGISTER IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTORS REGISTRATION DATABASE PRIOR TO AWARD OF A CONTACT. OFFERORS ARE FURTHER ADVISED THAT FAILURE TO REGISTER IN THE DOD CENTRAL REGISTRATION DATABASE MAY RENDER YOUR FIRM INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD.
