- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT TO Hershey Technologies, 4225 Executive Square, #100, La Jolla, CA 92037 for $29,559.00. Under the authority of FAR 6.302. Service will include CLIN 0001 (5 each) Subscription, Annual, Services for Fujitsu M3093DE Scanner On-Site, Same Day Service, 4 Hours Response time, includes parts, labor, travel and 1 PM (Cleaning); CLIN 0002 (1 each) Subscription, Annual, Services for Fujitsu M3093EX Scanner, On Site Same Day Service, 4 Hours Response Time, include parts, labor, travel and 1 PM (Cleaning); CLIN 0003 (6 each) Subscription, Annual, Services for Kofax 850-2000 Adrenaline Controller cards, On-site Same Day Replacement; CLIN 0004 (1 each) Subscription, Annual, Services for HP 80EX Optical Jukebox, On-Site Same Day Service, 4 Hours Response Time; CLIN 0005 (1 each) Subscription, Annual, Services for Ascent smart Storage Software includes upgrades; CLIN 0006 (1 each) Subscription, Annual, Services for ImageNet Software including Upgrades, Updates and Telephone Support for 100 Users; CLIN 0007 (6 each) Kofax Ascent Capture Software upgrade with 18% Annual Service to v6.x, 75k per month license includes Major Up Grades, Unlimited Technical Phone Support M-F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. CLIN 0008 (6 each) Kit, Consumable, for Fujitsu Scanners (Includes: 1 pad assembly, 1 pick roller, 1 cleaning kit); CLIN 0009 (50 Hours) Support, Service, On-site Pack, Certified Kofax Ascent Capture, Smart Ascent Storage and ImageNet Analysts and/or developers will respond within eight (8) hours of all software oriented services requests. Services Include: Up grade installation application consultation, application development, system analysis, training and troubleshooting. Services maybe used up to 12 months. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals or quotations. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals or quotations received in response to this notice. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide the services sought including pricing data and technical data sufficient enough to determine that a comparable source to the government is available. The Government will be the sole determiner regarding an offeror?s ability to meet all requirements. The government will consider all EOIs received prior to 1600 (4:00 p.m) Pacific Daylight time on 24 Sep 03. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. EOIs sent via the U.S. Postal Service should be mailed to Regional Contracting Office Southwest, PO Box 1609, Oceanside, CA 92051-1609. EOIs sent via Federal Express or hand carried must be delivered to Regional Contracting Office Southwest, Bldg 22180, MCB, Camp Pendleton, CA 92055 during weekdays, excluding federal holidays, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. EOIs may be submitted via facsimile to Attn: Judy Vinzant at (760) 725-8445/4346. The facsimile transmission must be clearly identified this notice and the name of the contracting officer on the first page. Submitters bear the burden of ensuring that the EOI reached the designated contracting office on time and should allow a reasonable time for facsimile transmissions to be completed. All pages of the transmission must reach the office before the deadline specified and pages of a facsimile transmission that arrive in he office after the specified deadline will not be considered. The submitter bears the risk of non-receipt of facsimile transmission and should confirm by telephone that any facsimile was received. This purchase will be under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 25 Sep 03.
