Description
This modification is to extend the response date and time to NO LATER THAN 25 September 2003, 4:00pm or 1600 hours EST. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation number for this procurement is F09607-03-Q-0066 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-15, Defense Acquisition Circular (DAC) 91-13C and Air Force Circular (AFAC) 2003-0501. For information purposes the Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3751. The North American Industry Classification System is 336991. The BID SCHEDULE shall be for Indoor Cycling Bike and consist of one line Item (CLIN). The following CLIN Item is: (1) Indoor cycling bike, **High inertia system comprised of a 38lb flywheel and direct drive that stimulates the feel of the road ** Corrosion-resistant powder coated frame with stainless steel hardware ** Fully adjustable seat position with easy to lock stainless steel locking pop pins **Multi-position, rubber coated handlebars are height adjustable with a easy to use stainless steel locking pop pin **Bicycle components including Shimano sealed cartridge bottom bracket forged crank arm that will accept clip less pedals **Unit comes with toe clips **New 22-inch wide stabilizer for better rider support and stability **Easy to use resistance adjustments knob with long life wool felt resistance pads **Modified chain guard facilitates the removal of the flywheel without removing chain guard **water bottle cages included **New polyurethane transport wheels **Maximum weight capacity 300 lbs **Commercial Warranty: Frame 15 years, parts 2 years, labor 1 year, wear and tear 6 months Schwinn Model #IC Elite/Part # 3670012 or EQUAL. Qty 15. FOB Point: Destination. Provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Request for Quotation (RFQ) should be submitted and shall contain the following information: RFQ NUMBER; TIME SPECIFIED FOR RECEIPT OF OFFERS; NAME, ADDRESS; TELEPHONE NUMBER OF OFFEROR; TERMS OF THE EXPRESSED WARRANTY; PRICE, ANY DISCOUNT TERMS AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ALL SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS (if applicable). Quote shall also contain all other documentation specified herein. Signed quotes must indicate quantity, unit price and total amount for each item. Offerors shall include a statement specifying the extent of agreement with all terms, conditions and provisions included in the solicitation. PERIOD OF ACCEPTANCE OF OFFERORS: The offeror agrees to hold the prices in its offer firm for 30 calendar days from the date specified for receipt of offers, unless another time period is specified in an addendum to the solicitation. LATE OFFERS: Request for Quotations or modification of quotes received at the address specified for the receipt of offers after the exact time specified for receipt of offers WILL NOT BE considered. EVALUATION/AWARD: IAW FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, the Government will award a purchase order resulting from this request for quotation to the lowest priced offer. This acquisition is set aside for small business. All offerors MUST BE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTERED (CCR).
