Description

The Air Force intends to award a sole source contract to Progressive Technologies, Inc., 4695 Danvers Drive, Grand Rapids, MI 49512-4018 for NON-PERSONAL SERVICES to furnish all labor, tools, parts, materials, services, transportation and incidentals necessary to provide Preventive and Remedial Maintenance, Calibration and Certification for Plasma Spray Booths in B/3001 and B/3221 at Tinker AFB, OK. The period of performance will commence on 10 OCT 03 and complete on 30 SEP 04. A Firm-Fixed Price type contract is contemplated. The estimated award date is no later than 10 OCT 03. Central Contractor Registration is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
