Description
*******MODIFICATION NUMBER 07. Remove the existing specifications and replace with the specifications as follows: Side-down Draft Automotive Paint Booth-Inside Dimensions-Approximately 14?-0? Wide, 14?-0? High and 45?-0? Long. Outside Dimensions-Approximately 18?-4? Wide, 16?-2? high and 45?-4? long. Adequate lighting with front access panels for easy maintenance and bulb replacement. Adequate filtration shall be provided to remove airborne particles when fresh air is drawn into the booth and to trap painting over spray prior to exhausting outside of booth. Eyewash stations to be removed from existing booth and re-installed in the new booth. A pollution stack cap with automatic dampers and weather canopy is required. Booth must meet EPA requirements. Door Construction ? Opening to be approximately 11?-9? Wide, 13?-10 ?? High to include leak proof type seals at the base, heavy duty safety latches and a draft gage that will provide visual indication of when filters are loaded and need to be replaced. Personnel Door ? Approximately 36? Wide X 84? Long, to include clear tempered glass observation window. THE REVISED PROPOSAL DUE DATE IS 24 SEPTEMBER 2003, NO LATER THAN 4:30 P.M., EST. END OF MODIFICATION NUMBER 07******* This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation number is F1383531340200 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The associated NAICS code is 335510 with a 500-employee size standard. Contractors shall submit a lump sum proposal for all labor and materials included in this project. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Request Quotation to replace existing spray paint booth/bay. Contractor will provide all labor and material. This will be a turnkey installation, and we are requesting the Civil Engineer Squadron to provide a final inspection upon completion of requirement. Quote must reflect FOB Destination.
