Description

NA The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment, and constructing the Item 2, Levee Enlargement, in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana. Principal features of the work include mobilization and demobilization, clearing and grubbing, semico mpacted levee embankment, ramps, pipeline crossings, removing and replacing existing levee surfacing, new crushed stone levee surfacing, mowing and turfing; levee station markers, providing as-built drawings (both blueline and electronic), using the Govern ment-furnished software (RMS) and providing all labor and equipment necessary for electronic exchange of information and management of the contract (See Section 01312 QUALITY CONTROL SYSTEM), storm water pollution prevention, and environmental protection. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Plans and specifications will be available on the Vicksburg Consolidated Contracting Office Web Page at http://www.mvk.usace.army.mil/contract/ and on compact disc at no charge. Hardcopies will not be available. The CD-ROM may be requested electronically by registering on our homepage or mailing your request to VCCO at 4155 Clay Street, Vicksburg, MS 39183-3435.
