Description

NA The Government intends to establish a contract for Maintenance and Repair of a Fujifilm Computerized Radiological Reader (CR Reader) System. Performance will be for a one year base period beginning 1 Oct 2003 (or date of award if subsequent thereto) throu gh 30 Sep 2004 with four consecutive option years. Place of performance is Fort Drum, New York. The FCR 5000 system is comprised of the following components: 1) IDT 741A; 2) QA 771 WS; 3) 551 PS; 4) 2000 GATEWAY, and 5) HOWTEK DIGITIZER. The contra ct includes the provision of emergency service & maintenance with all labor and parts including imaging plates, cassette and one set of service manuals. All travel time is included with the contract. Emergency service shall be done with in 24 hours betwee n 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. Semi-annual preventive maintenance on site with calibration and safety inspection during the months of December and June each year. Provide unlimited technical telephone support. The contractor shall provide FDA compliance certificate. Due to the uncertainty of receiving competitive offers from two or more small businesses, this solicitation is being issued as unrestricted. However, if as a result of this announcement, two or more technically capable, responsibl e small businesses are identified, the Contracting Officer reserves the right to convert this action to a Small Business Set-Aside without further notice. All interested parties may submit an offer, which will be considered. The FSC is 6525, NAICS is 811 219 with a size standard of $6.0 Million.
