Description

The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov Website on or about 10/08/03. TELEPHONE OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The work of this contract includes furnishing all materials, labor, equipment and supervision; and performing all operations required to complete the stabilization and repair of the Hahn Memorial. This includes, but is not limited to, (a) selective dismantling, demolition, removal, and salvage or disposal of designated portions of existing construction, (b) selective repair of existing concrete deck landings to receive new tile system, (c) preparation of masonry joints to receive sealant, raking and repointing of designated granite and other masonry mortar joints, (d) installation of sealant at designated joints, (e) installation of new porcelain tile floor system at 3 stair landings, and (f) selective patching of limestone wall surfaces adjacetn to stair treads. This Solicitation is issued pursuant to Public Law 100-656, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, and is open to all concerns, regardless of size. The NAICS code is 235410. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price contract will be awarded. A single award will be made. The construction estimate is between $25,000 - $100,000. Contractors must register in the CCR (Contractor Central Registration) on the website in order submit an offer. Instructions are contained on the website for downloading solicitation and attachments. It is the responsibility of all interested contractors to acknowledge ALL amendments to the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by the agency.
