- Description
- The following information is provided as part of the solicitation: A. For a proposal to be considered, the offeror must do the following: 1. Cite the specific solicitation for which they are submitting a proposal. (i.e. N00140-03-K-3537 or N00140-03-K-3538). 2. Provide a point of contact that will be signing the contract. 3. Provide an address with zip code so that a signed contract may be sent, and to determine that the contractor meets the proximity criteria in the solicitation. The government intends to make a proximity determination using an internet engine such as mapquest, yahoo, or similar cites. The offeror may submit proof of distance with its proposal. 4. Demonstrate the facility meets the three diamond rating for hotels. 5. Price all SubCLINs of the solicitation, including options, based on a daily rate per room. B. Award will be made to the lowest priced proposal that meets the above criteria. C. The Government will only pay for the number or rooms it actually occupies. The excess rooms will be removed through a bilateral modification. D. FAR provision 52.217-7 is replaced with 52.217-9 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract (Mar 2000), Notification within 30 days. E. Proposals may be submitted by electronic mail by the due date. G. The due date of 25 September is extended to 29 September 2003. Rooms scheduled for October must be made available immediately upon award.
