Description

The Air Armament Center (AAC), Eglin AFB, FL intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The announcement number is F77SGL32580400. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 485113, with a small business size standard of $6.0M. This requirement is unrestricted. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. The requirement is for a LEASE OF A 23 PASSENGER SHUTTLE BUS TO INCLUDE THE DRIVER, GAS AND INSURANCE. FIVE DAYS PER WEEK FROM 7:00 AM TO 4:30 P.M. SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS, HOLIDAYS AND AFMC FAMILY DOWN DAYS EXCLUDED. FOR A 12-MONTH PERIOD THAT TOTALS 222 DAYS. DATE SERVICE IS REQUIRED FOR CONTINUING SERVICE: 3 NOVEMBER 2003 THROUGH 30 SEPTEMBER 2004. POC IS LT COL MARK A PRUETT OR TSGT VALLEJO AT 883-8929. GOVERNMENT PURCHASE CREDIT CARD WILL BE THE METHOD OF PAYMENT ON A MONTHLY BASIS. NOTE: Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made until funds are available to make payments under a contract. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, with no obligation to the offeror by the Government.
