Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Description The United States Army Tank Automotive and Armaments Command located in Rock Island Illinois intends to enter into a sole source contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures with Pratt Studio, Visual and Video Corporation, 1442 Brown Street Bettendorf, IA, 52722, 563-359-1825 for the upgrade of the existing conference rooms into multi-functional rooms which can be used as either conference rooms, training rooms, or labs with the following equipment, materials and service. 7 Samsung SDP-950ST digital document cameras 7 Monivision DM6951ST 32 inch data video monitors 7 Wireless computing RF-350 wireless keyboard and mouse 7 Bretford BBC-48P4 monitor stands w/locking cabinet 7 Zenith XBV-342 DVD-Vcr combo units These Conference rooms are used for high level briefings, emergency planning and training sessions and labs and cannot be unavailable. The Contractor shall provide ongoing technical support and be available for emergency repair/ replacement of equipmen t in the event of failiure. Interested firms able to meet these requirements are invited to submit response within 3 working days after appearance of this notice but only in writing with clear and convincing documentation to TACOM-RI, 1 Rock Island Arsenal, ATTN: AMSTA-AQ-ARI/Patri cia Cahill; Rock Island, IL 61299-6000 or by email to Patricia Cahill at: cahillp@ria.army.mil. Responses must include at a minimum how the contractor proposes to meet the requirements set forth herein. Written response must include technical informati on sufficient to enable the Government to determine if a vendor can meet the Government's needs. No contract award will be made on the basis of offers/proposals received in response to this notice. If no affirmative responses are received clearly demon strating a vendors ability to meet the Governments need within 3 working days after publication of this notice, and funding is available, a sole source purchase order shall be issued to Pratt Studio. All contractors who provide goods and services to the D epartment of Defense (DOD) must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) in order to be awarded DOD contracts.
