Description

The General Services Administration intends to issue a contract to GasTOPS Ltd. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 through solicitation number 4THF97031649. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 90-42. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for Other than Full and Open Competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. This procurement is to obtain seven (7) FilterCHECK EDXRF/PRAM System to include spare parts kit, software support and annual service agreement on an open market buy. This procurement is for the JOAP at NAS Pensacola, FL. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received by close of business, 10/08/2003, will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Inquiries will only be accepted by FAX at 850-435-8496 or email.
