Description
Solicitation package RFP 552-43-03 for Historical Renovation of the Protestant Chapel Floor and Foundation Structure will be ready for distribution on or about September 29, 2003. This is a Design Build Request for Proposal. This acquisition is unrestricted and open to both large and small business concerns. All concerns submitting a proposal must have experience in historical renovation and knowledge of the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) requirements. The ONLY site visit will be held October 8, 2003 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel. All interested parties are encouraged to attend. Bring your copy of the Solicitation. No copies will be available or provided at the site visit. Proposals are due no later than 11:00 AM, EST October 14, 2003. All requests for the solicitation package must be in writing on the Firm?s letterhead and contain a non-refundable $10.00 payment, your mailing address, point of contact, phone and fax numbers and the solicitation number. ONE COPY PER REQUESTOR AND NO TELEPHONE OR E-MAIL REQUESTS FOR COPIES OF THE PACKAGE WILL BE HONORED. All requests must be accompanied by a non-refundable $10.00 payment, made out to the VA Medical Center Agent Cashier. The payment must be in the form of a money order or cashier?s check. There are a limited number of solicitation packages and they will be issued on a first come, first serve basis. The only available drawing is included in the package. Bid bond is required in the amount of 20%. The awardee may be required to provide Payment and Performance Bonds in the amount of 100% of the awarded price.
