Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DABJ13-03-T-0080 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Feder al Acquisition Circular 01-15. This will be a 100% small business set aside (NAICS: 441210, 811121 size standard $6 M). Responses should be quoted in accordance with the following: CLIN 0001, Quantity = 1 Each. This procurement is for supplies with services incidental to the supply end item delivered. Cost is estimated to be 75%-80% supply and 20%-25% service/labor/installation. Delivery date: Work must commence prior to 30 Nov 20 03, and must conclude within 90 days of start date. Preliminary design sketch and detailed specifications are available and can be requested from: jean.gatta@carson.army.mil Description: Convert the 26 foot x 8 foot body section of a Freightliner FL70 in to a mobile command post. External customization shall include: Painting cab and body of vehicle black and painting white 12 inch block lettering on both sides of truck; providing and installing: 3 awnings, exterior lighting in 5 locations to provide illu mination to the immediate and surrounding areas, emergency vehicle lights, external slave port, stairs at rear cargo and curb side doors, roof mounted air conditioning/heating unit, minimum 5K diesel generator, and telephone cable spool; install radio ant ennas. Internal customization shall include: traction grooved rubberized flooring, wall and ceiling insulation and covering, camper style port ventilation, electrical wiring for 8 - 110v outlets, 8 internal phone jacks, 4 external weather proof phone jack s, television mount, fluorescent lights, 3 workstations with cabinets above and below, bench style storage cabinet, 3 swivel captains chairs, pull-down map storage area, 3 map boards, dry erase board, computerized/electronic dry erase board. Warranty: Pr ovide with quote standard commercial warranty information. Delivery will be to: Central Receiving Point, Bldg. 330, Fort Carson, CO 80913.
