Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is a Request for Quotes (RFQ). The Capital District Contracting Center, 9410 Jackson Loop, Fort Belvoir VA 22060-5134, Intends to issue a sole source, firm fixed price commerc ial contract to Austin Info Systems, Inc, 303 Camp Craft Road, Austin Texas 78746 for the acquisition of a computer software known as Open Source Automated Link Tool software licenses. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source. Companies who can provide the above listed proprietary sofware must indicate there interest in writing to walkervi@belvoir.army.mil no later than 29 September 2003. Estimated date of award is 30 September 2003. All responsible sources will be considered for evaluating the determination to issue a sole source contract. The RFQ document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through FAC 01-15. FAR 52.212-1, FAR 52.212-4, and FAR 52.212-5 apply to this acqu isition. FAR 52.212-2 does not apply to this sole source acquisition. Quotes shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3 and DFARS 252.212-7000 and 252.247-7022. The following additional FAR clauses apply: 52.203-6,52.203-6 AltI, 52.22 2-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37 and 52.232-33. The following additional DFARS clauses apply: 252.212-7001, 252.204-7004, 252.205-7000, 252.225-7012, 252.252-7014, 252.227-7015, 252.227-7037, 252.243-7002 and 252.247-7024
