Description

NA Modems, NSN 5895-01-064-1873, P/N 11511023- This will be a requirements contract for one year. An estimated 60 each modems for the Patriot Missile System will be shipped out to be evaluated and repaired if necessary during the year of the contract. The per iod of performance for the contract will begin 10/03/2003- 09/30/2004. Orders will be issued as requirements materialize. Delivery will be within 5 days after reciept of the modem if no repairs are necessary. If repairs are necessary, delivery of repaire d modem will be determined at time of evaluation. Destination will be Fort Bliss, Texas. The annotated closing date for the solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation. The solicitation will not c lose prior to the annotated closing date. Offerors must be approved and qualified. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. The Government does not possess sufficient documentatio n to acquire these items from other than the qualified source. A technical data package, which defines all engineering and quality requirements, is not available. Suggest that small business firms, or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with this procurement, make contact with the firm listed. The RFQ will be issued to Rockwell Collins, 400 Collins Road NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52498. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by this agency.
