NA THIS ANNOUNCEMENT REPLACES THE PREVIOUSLY ISSUED ANNOUNCEMENT FOR DAAH01-02-R-0010. ALL REQUEST FOR INFORMATION SHALL BE DIRECTED TO THE FOLLOWING: AMSAM-AC-LM-P, STAN CRITTENDEN, JR., CONTRACTING OFFICER, KIM WOODBERRY, CONTRACT SPECIALIST, (256) 876-2349, FAX (256) 955-9237, E-MAIL: Kim.Woodberry@redstone.army.mil**TELEPHONE REQUEST WI LL NO BE ACCEPTED** This effort is for Contractor Operated Depot Level Repair and Return of AMCOM managed supporting assemblies and subassemblies of the IMPROVED BRADLEY ACQUISITION SUBSYSTEM (IBAS), BRADLEY FIGHTING VEHICLE SYSTEM (BFVS). The Basic, Pro gram Year One contractual effort will encompass items that become unserviceable beginning FY04 through 30 September 2004. This effort also includes requirements for FY05 and FY06. The RFP will be issued to Raytheon Systems Company, 2501 W. University, P. O. Box 801, McKinney, TX 75070-0801 (vendor code 96214) and DRS Optronics Inc., 2330 Commerce Park Dr, N.E., Palm Bay, FL 32905 (vendor code 32865). The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release o f solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. This contract is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only two sources. Suggest that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with this procurement, make contact with the above listed firms. A technica l data package, which defines all engineering and quality requirements, is not available. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by this agency.
