- Description
- The purpose of this notice is to provide an update to the DHS SPIRIT Project. 1) The issuance of the RFP is delayed. It is anticipated that the RFP will be released in October 2003. 2) Delay is due to the temporary closing of USCG Headquarters for over a week as a result of damage sustained from Hurricane Isabel. This affected end of Fiscal Year activities and caused our contracting resources to be diverted to assist others. In addition, we are working with the SBA to resolve issues identified by the SBA regarding the 8(a) approach planned for SPIRIT. These issues must be addressed and approved prior to release of the RFP. NOTE: Due to overwhelming interest in this requirement, no phone inquiries, e-mails or requests to meet ?one-on-one? will be answered. All further DHS SPIRIT project information, including the RFP will be posted on this site as it becomes available. Thank you for your patience!
