- Description
- The one-time pre-solicitation project site tour will be conducted on October 7, 2003, at 9:00 A.M. local time in conjunction with the site tour of RFP-CAZ-04-007, Sugarloaf Road and Trailhead Reconstruction. The pre-solicitation meeting will be conducted at the Laramie Ranger District Office, 2468 Jackson Street, Laramie, WY 82070. The Mirror Lake Picnic Ground project consists of furnishing all labor, supervision, materials other than Government furnished, and transportation necessary to reconstruct and pave the Mirror Lake Picnic Ground (NFSR 228) parking areas and trails, along with recreation fixture construction (graveled picnic sites & trails, concrete pads, and installation of one steel pipe gate). Work to be performed shall include construction staking, removal of existing site fixtures, clearing & grubbing, erosion control, excavation, borrow excavation, topsoil stripping, crushed aggregate installation, hot bituminous pavement, chip sealing, culvert installation, concrete work, riprap, topsoiling, seeding, signing, and pavement striping. It is anticipated that a solicitation for this project will be issued and awarded this winter if funding becomes available; work is tentatively scheduled to begin July 12, 2004. Contract duration will be 120 days. The magnitude of the project is between $250,000 and $500,000. This is an unrestricted acquisition. Note: Due to access to the project site in the spring being difficult at best, the site visit is being held this fall. All potential offerors are invited to attend. If you plan to attend the pre-solicitation site visit, contact Ruth Brado at 970-498-1151 not later than October 6, 2003. If there are no calls indicating attendance, the meeting will be cancelled. If funding becomes available, the solicitation, including the specifications, will be posted at www.FedBizOpps.gov and will state the date that offers are due. Location: Adjacent to Wyoming State Highway #130 (Snowy Range Highway), approximately 45 miles west of Laramie, Wyoming, in Albany County, on the Brush Creek/Hayden Ranger District, Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest.
