- Description
- The 11th Contracting squadron is contemplating a firm-fixed price contract for school bus transportation services for approximately 1000 military dependant school age children/parents for an estimated 180 day school year from Bolling Air Force Base, DC to designated public and private schools in the District of Columbia (estimated 40 schools); and upon approved waiver, to private schools located in Maryland (estimated 2 schools) and Virginia (estimated 8 schools). Contractors must provide quotes on all or none of the required lines items. Multiple awards may be issued. The school buses must meet all standards required by Federal, state, local county laws and regulations applicable in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform this service, to schools identified in the Statement of Work (SOW). The SIC Code is 4151. The North American Industry Classification System code is 485411 with the size standard being $6.0 million. The period of performance for this requirement is 1 Jan 04 to 30 Dec 04 with four 12 month option years. This is a competitive Past Performance Trade-Off (PPT)solicitation. The Government reserves the right to award to other than the lowest evaluated technically acceptable price if past/present performance gives the greatest confidence, meeting or exceeding the requirement affordably. This procurement is 100% Unrestricted. This solicitation and specifications will be distributed solely on the World Wide Web at the following address beginning on or after 01 Oct 03: http://www.eps.gov. Prospective offerors will be asked to register for this solicitation at the above referenced web site. All prospective offerors are responsible to visit the FedBizzOpps web site frequently and obtain any amendments or other information pertinent to this RFP. Also, each prospective offeror interested in submitting a proposal on this RFP must register by e-mail to: maria.kersey@bolling.af.mil. Include company name, address, telephone/fax numbers point-of-contact and e-mail address. Offerors registering on the source list shall not conclude that they will receive a paper copy of the RFP, as no paper copies will be issued. The approximate closing date of this solicitation will be 03 Nov 03. NO PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE MAILED.
