Description: NA USACE, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) is planning to enter into a contract for services associated with the extension of IE maintenance. This publication serves as notice of intent to negotiate on a sole source basis under FAR 6.302-1 with High Performance Technologies, Inc., for operation and maintenance of IE, to identify and correct software deficiencies and bugs, and incorporate enhancements to the existing client in a manner compatible with existing functionality. IE is propriety softw are designed by High Performance Technologies, Inc. The proposed action is for services in investigation problem reports as well as further development to meet increased production system demand. A firm fixed price contract for 5 years (Base plus 4 options ) is being anticipated. Any other responsible source able to provide the above referenced service is encouraged to respond not later than 11:00a.m. 30Sep2003. This is not a request for quotations and there is no solicitation at this time.
