Description

FBO Notice This is a combined synopsis/solicitation with an intent to award on a Sole Source basis. Solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number, N00259-03-T-0156, is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2001-15. NAIC (North American Industtry Classification System) is 334510. Clin 0001: Non-personnel services contract for a Research Associate for the period of 01 Oct 03 thru 30 Sep 04. Qty: 1240; Unit of issue: Hours. The duties to be performed shall be in accordance with the statement of work. Statement of work is available upon request, contact Joy Alcantara @ 619-532-8084. This acquisition incorporates the following FAR Clauses: 52.212-1 INSTRUCTION TO OFFERORS-COMMERCIAL ITEMS (Oct 95); 52.212-3 OFFEROR REPRESENTATION AND CERTIFICATION-COMMERCIAL ITEMS (Oct 95) must be completed and submitted along with the proposal (please contact Joy Alcantara @ 619-532-8084) if a copy is needed; in accordance with FAR 52.212-5 CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS REQUIRED TO IMPLEMENT STATUTES OR EXECUTIVE ORDERS-COMMERCIAL ITEMS (Aug 95), the following clauses incorporated by reference in paragraph (b); 52-222-26 EQUAL OPPORTUNITY (E.O. 11246); 52.222-35 AFFIRMATIVE ACTION FOR SPECIAL DISABLED AND VIETNAM ERA VETERAN (38 U.S.C. 4212); 52.222-37 EMPLOYMENT REPORTS ON SPECIAL DISABLED AND VETERANS OF THE VIETNAM ERA (38 U.S.C. 4212); 52.222.36 AFFIRMATIVE ACTION FOR HANDICAPPED WORKERS (29 U.S.C. 793); 52.212-4 CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS COMMERCIAL ITEMS (Oct 95); DFARS 252.207-7004 REQUIRED CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (Mar 1989); FAR 52.232.36 PAYMENT BY THIRD PARTY (May 1999); 52.232-33 MANDATORY INFORMATION FOR ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER PAYMENT (Aug 1996); 52.212-4 EVALUATION-COMMERCIAL ITEMS (Jan 99). Accordingly, the contractor shall furnish such resumes and all professional requirements as stated in the Statement of Work (SOW) to the Purchasing Agent along with their quotes. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered.
