- Description
- The Corporation for National Service, a wholly owned Government Corporation, intends to award a Government Purchase Order to a qualified vendor, who can provide lodging, conference space, audiovisual equipment, and meals for the AmeriCorps*VISTA Early Service Training, October 20-23, 2003 in the Washington, DC area. These events must take place within a ten mile radius of Washington, DC, because all attendees will be arriveing and departing from Reagan National Airport. Special requirments: Meeting rooms and at least 25% of sleeping rooms must be accessible to physically challenged individuals. At least 25% of the attendees meals will be vegetarians or vegans. Federal Regulations requires that any hotlel/conference space contracted shall comply with the American Disabilities ACT (ADA) requirements and the FEMA, Fire Prevention and Control guidelines. These attendees will receive information pertinent to their roles as an AmeriCorps*VISTA members. The following shall be provided for this requirement: Double Occupancy Sleeping Rooms 80-October 20, 2003 80-October 21, 2003 80-October 22, 2003 Meeting Space (Meeting rooms and at least 25% of sleeping rooms must be accessible to physically challenged individuals). Breakout rooms 2 rectangle tables at front of the breakout room each day for presenter materials **2 of these breakout rooms should hold 50 participants in rounds 7-October 21, 2003 for 30 attendees set in rounds for six to eight from 8:00AM to 6:00 PM 7-October 22, 2003 for 30 attendees set in rounds for six to eight from 8:00AM to 6:00 PM 7-October 23, 2003 for 30 attendees set in rounds for six to eight from 8:00AM to 6:00 PM 7-October 24, 2003 for 30 attendees set in rounds for six to eight from 8:00AM to 6:00 PM Meals (At least 25% of all attendees at meals will be vegetarians or vegans and at least 25% off all attendees must have Halal meat). AM Breaks should include coffee, team refresh; PM Breaks should include coffee, teas, soft drinks, and light snacks. ?
