- Description
- Modification 0001 is issued to solicitation DTCG38-03-B-H00005 for the following change: Section C.2.2 Specifications, Paragraph d. The contractor shall inspect all tires and accept only those tires which can be retreaded and repaired in a satisfactory manner (IAW USAF Technical Order 4T-1-3). The contractor shall have the Defense Contract Management Command (DCMC) inspector witness the scrap of all tires which cannot be retreaded or repaired in a satisfactory manner. In the event the contractor receives a tire that cannot be retreaded due to the condition of the tire, the contractor shall within fifteen (15) calendar days of the initial inspections, notify the Contracting Officer in writing requesting disposition instructions. The Contracting Officer will within (15) calendar days of receipt of the Contractor's notice provide written dispositon instructions. There will be no charge to the Government for tires that cannot be repaired/retreaded.
