- Description
- Construct 1 post frame building (32ft. x 40 ft) consisting of CCA treated structural posts (10), prefabricated trusses (6), and Galvalume sheet metal roofing; pouring 2 reinforced concrete slabs under the structure, one with curbing, a sump and bar grating, and one uncurbed slab (17.1 cu yds for both slabs); and approximately 100 tons of CR-14 gravel as a roadway and a heavy use area. Minimal seeding (0.1 ac), clearing and grubbing (0.1 ac) will be necessary. An additional reinforced concrete slab (22.2 cu yds) with gravel heavy use areas (100 tons CR-14) may be included as a supplemental bid option. Performance time is 65 calendar days for the base package and 75 calendar days with the additional work including holidays and weather days. The estimated price is within the range of $25,000 - $100,000. The solicitation is subject to full and open competition (unrestricted). The NAICS code for this procurement is 234990. The solicitation will be available for viewing and/or downloading from the website, www.fedbizopps.gov, on or about October 15, 2003. The site showing will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. in Building 3916, McCrady Training Center of the SC Army National Guard, on Ft. Jackson Military Reservation, near Columbia, SC. McCrady Training Center is located on SC 262 (Leesburg Road) approximately 15 miles east of Columbia and 0.5 miles west of US 601. From Columbia, take I-77 to exit 9 and go east on Leesburg Road. Visitors will enter the center at the Guardhouse gate after presenting a copy of the solicitation or solicitation notice, showing photo identification for all persons in the vehicle, and signing a visitor register. All vehicles are subject to search. Firearms will not be permitted. A designated parking area is located west of the gate. After a brief meeting concerning the bidding process and contract requirements, the group will leave for a tour of the work site.
