- Description
- The VA VISN 22 Network Business Center intends to negotiate a commercial (FAR Part 12) sole source contract with Dictaphone Corporation, 16360 Rosco Blvd, suite 120, Van Nuys, CA 91406 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for other than full and open competition is being prepared in support of this acquisition. Based upon this Solicitation No. RFQ 600-407-03, the Government intends to award a contract for Maintenance and Repair, of the Dictaphone Software and Equipment located at the VA Greater Los Angeles System,11301 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles CA 90073. The NAICS code is 811213 with a size of $6 million. Solicitation will be issued o/a October 15, 2003. All requests must be in writing via email brian.vanorman@med.va.gov or fax 562-961-1378 to Brian Van Orman, VA Network Business Center (NBC/MP), 5901 East Seventh St., Long Beach, CA 90822 All proposals received by 4:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time, October 25, 2003, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government.
