- Description
- Projects consist of the removal and replacement of existing security systems to new stand alone systems and modify the existing fire alarm panels in four buildings by installing a digital alarm communicator transmitter at the Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge, Prairie City, Iowa. The existing security system will be replaced and additional security devices and closed circuit television equipment will be added. Auto-dialers and telephone lines will be provided to existing fire alarm panels and each panel will have the ability to call the system monitoring agency and report an alarm to provide output to an annunciator panel. The equipment will have to interact with a Johnson Metasys building control system. The estimated magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. This procurement is issued unrestricted. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 561621, Security System Services, with a size standard of $10.5 million.
