Description

Project consists of the upgrading of the existing fire alarm and security systems at the DeSoto National Wildlife Refuge, Missouri Valley, Iowa. The new fire alarm devices and security system shall be installed in new locations, replace existing devices in existing locations, include testing and demonstration of all devices and systems, and the training of personnel. Reconnecting the existing Halon system to the new fire alarm control panel is also required. The estimated magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. This procurement is issued unrestricted. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 561621, Security System Services, with a size standard of $10.5 million. Solicitation packages will be available free of charge approximately 10/17/2003 with quotes due on or about 11/21/2003.
