- The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about October 9, 2003. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Description: Maintenance of landscape for Sandstone Visitor Center located in southern West Virginia. This is a new facility. The overall site is approximately ten acres.The area is to be restored to the site of a native state. Some requirements are cyclic mowing of the various landscape zones; recognizing invasive plants at the seedling and adult stages; monitoring and removing invasive species within all management zones and maintaining the grasslands. Contract award will be for either base year and two additional option years, or single award for all three years. The NAICS code for this project is 561730. This procurement is a Request for Proposals (RFP) and is subject to the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. A pre-proposal meeting will be scheduled for all interested parties with the time and date to be announced in the solicitation. Responses will be due approximately 30 days following issuance of solicitation. Search by referencing the solicitation number N4780040001, Department of the Interior, National Park Service.
