- Description
- Program 5510-S, Direct Mail Pocket Folders With Inserts. Term contract for the period beginning Date of Award and ending September 30, 2004 with up to 4 option years through September 30, 2008. These specifications cover the production of oversize direct mail pocket folders with inserts requiring such operations as all digital prepress operations, computer to plate production, printing in 4-color process, personalization, varnish or aqueous coating, die-cutting, all preparation required for mailing, and distribution. Certain prepress operations requiring digital changes to the files are charged as "System Timework." If contractor is using films, all cost for producing films and plates must be included as part of bid prices. Approximately 6 orders per year. Award will be made in two categories. Approximately 5 orders in Category 1 and 1 order in Category 2. Prints in 4-color process. Quality level II. Extensive mailing required. IMMEDIATELY FAX BID REQUEST ON FIRM'S LETTERHEAD TO 312.886.3163. REQUEST BY PROGRAM NUMBER. Cite company name, address, phone and fax numbers, and GPO Contractor's Code if known. No contractor's code does not preclude bidding. Only one bid request per letter. Separate letters required for each different jacket/program request. Bid specifications will be faxed to the requestor. Bidder must have the bid specifications to bid. Bid will also be posted to the gpo web site at www.gpo.gov/procurement/index.html. Click on the Chicago Office. Bidder must separately download the GPO Form 910.
