Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) plans to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis to Bonnie Belt, Montgomery Village, MD, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), Simplified Acquisition procedures. The object of this requirement is to transfer knowledge of Administrative Officer duties and to complete ongoing projects. Bonnie Belt is the only qualified source for this service as she has served as Administrative Officer and has indepth knowledge of the Office of the Deputy Chief Financial Office budget and administrative issues. She is the only person with the knowledge to train the staff and proceed with the projects in an independent manner. Period of performance will be one year from date of award. All work will be performed at NIST, Gaithersburg, MD. The anticipated award date of this order is on or around 5 days from the date of this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. Interested persons may identify their intent and capability to respond to this requirement no later than the response date above. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. For information, call the POC identified below.
