- Description
- Due to the monetary ceiling of Contract Number 0600-99-34628 with Lockheed Martin Services, Incorporated being reached earlier than anticipated, the Social Security Administration (SSA) must recompete its requirements for enterprise technology services. This acquisition will be conducted on a full and open competitive basis and a public notice will be published at a later date. In order to maximize competition and to equalize every contractor?s knowledge about SSA?s operating environment, an Industry Day will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2003 from 1:00 pm until 3:30 pm at SSA?s Office of Acquisition and Grants, 1710 Gwynn Oak Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21207-5279. The purpose of this Industry Day is to afford all interested parties the opportunity to learn more about SSA programs and technologies in order to put the eventual solicitation document?s statement of work in a better context. This session will NOT focus on the specifics of the eventual DRAFT Request for Proposals that will be released approximately one month later. SSA will not be transcribing or video taping this presentation. Recording, taping, or otherwise electronically capturing this session by participants will be prohibited. Due to seating constraints it is necessary to limit the number who can attend from each company to three. Please notify Ms. Jane Quinn electronically of the number of employees who would like to attend from your company and the license plate number of your vehicle(s) by the close of business on Friday, October 10, 2003. Ms. Quinn?s email address is Jane.Quinn@ssa.gov. Access to this session will be restricted to those representatives who have been previously authorized to attend. Authorization will be granted on the basis of those who first request to attend. All attendees are encouraged to arrive early due to security procedures.
