- Description
- The Corporation for National Service, a wholly owned Government Corporation, intends to award a government purchase order to a qualified vendor, who can provide loding, conference space, audiovisual equipment, and meals for the AmeriCorps*VISTA Pre-Service Orientation and Supervisor?s Training in the Washington, DC area. These attendees will receive information pertinent to their roles as an AmeriCorps*VISTA members and Supervisors. These events must take place within a ten mile radius of Washington, DC, because all attendees will be arriving and departing from Reagan National Airport. Special requirements: Meeting rooms and at least 25% of sleeping rooms must be accessible to physically challenged individulas. At least 25% of the attendees at meals will be vegetarians or vegans. Federal regulations require that any hotel/conference space contracted shall comply with the American Disabilities ACT (ADA) requirements and the FEMA, Fire Prevention and Control guidelines.
