- Description
- The VA Medical Center, Asheville, VA (hereinafter referred to as the VA) has the need for a contractor to provide perfusionist services, following VA standards as established in the solicitation. Offerors will also submit price quotes for disposable supplies enumerated in the solicitation. It is the VA's intent to solicit proposals and award one firm-fixed price contract on a competitive basis. The NAICS code for perfusionist services is 621399. Size standard is $21 M. This acquisition is a cascaded set-aside. It has been 100% set-aside for small business. If, after receipt of offers, two or more small businesses do not meet the requirements, the solicitation will be available for full and open competition. All responsible offerors (large and small businesses) are encouraged to submit a proposal. Contract period will be date of award through September 30, 2004 with four twelve-month renewable option periods. Solicitation packages will be available on or about October 2, 2003. This requirement is subject to the availability of FY04 funds. Solicitation documents may be obtained electronically at: http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov. No hard copies will be available. Electronic offers will not be accepted.
