Description

NA The army requires a fixed price contract to Renovate and Add an Addition to Newman Fitness Center, Fort Stewart, Georgia. The work includes: Renovation that include the following types of work: painting; acoustical tile ceilings; modular carpet; ceramic tile; toilet partitions; lockers; new sauna; plumbing; HVAC; lighting and electrical. Addition involves site work and construction of CMU and brick veneer building with metal joists, metal deck, EPDM roofing and slab on grade. Addition provide new Men an d Women Toilet / Locker / Shower Room areas for existing Natatorium. Site work includes the following types of work: prepare site for building addition; relocate / alter existing water, sanitary and storm water systems; new sidewalk and sun terrace; grad ing / seeding / planting. Building Addition includes the following types of work: painting; acoustical tile ceilings; modular carpet; ceramic tile; toilet partitions; lockers; plumbing; HVAC; lighting and electrical. The NAICS is 236220 and the size stan dard is $28.5 million. The magnitude of the project is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. Bid Guarantee and Performance and Payment Bonds are required. Performance time for this work is 18 months after receipt of notice to proceed. This acquisition is being solicited as unrestricted, full and open competition therefore all eligible firms may submit a bid, which will be considered. The solicitation will be available for downloading at the time of issue from the Internet Website at: https://acquisition.a rmy.mil/asfi. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be available.
