Description

The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about October 20, 2003. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Description: 100% Set-aside for Small Business. Design of Tele/Videoconferencing Equipment; Brown v. Board of Education NHS; Monroe School; Topeka, Kansas. The solicitation number for this project is Q6068030071. The National Park Service requires a firm, fixed-price construction contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of the above named project. Work includes, but is not limited to design of teleconferencing and videoconferencing equipment required in 2 rooms of the Monroe School. One room is a conference room, the other a flexible classroom. The NAICS code for this project is 561499 and the small business size standard is $6.0 million. Contract duration is 30 days following notice to proceed. This procurement is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and is subject to the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions. In addition, this procurement is offered as 100% Set-aside for Small Business, and the National Park Service encourages the participation of disadvantaged and women-owned business enterprises. A site visit may be scheduled for all interested parties with the time and date to be announced in the solicitation. Responses will be due approximately 15 days following issuance of solicitation. Search by referencing the solicitation number (above), Department of the Interior, National Park Service. Individual requests for solicitation packages will NOT be accepted.
