Description

The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting for the following: 0001). SPECIAL MATERIAL HANDLING PALLETS, 50 each. Approx 96" x 96" oak, common slingable hardwood (oak) with flats on bottom. These are the same construction as Mil-P-159443D except with dimensions of 96" x 96" per Type 1, Grade B, Class 1, Level C per sketch. FOB Destination. Desired delivery is 10 weeks after date of contract. Copies of MIL/FED specs, QPL, may be obtained from the ASSIST database on the Internet at http://assist.daps.mil. The procedures of FAR Part 12, Commercial Acquisition will be utilized. THE GOVERNMENT ANTICIPATES THAT FINAL NEGOTIATED PRICING WILL BE THROUGH A REVERSE AUCTION. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Elecronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. It is anticipated that the RFQ will be issued on or about 08 October 2003, with offers due on or about 15 October 2003. All offerors wishing to submit an offer, are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website (WinZIP is required) and to frequently monitor that site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to mary_j_beauchamp@puget@puget.fisc.navy.mil" will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. No bidders' list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ and/or amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to electronically posted solicitations or quotes and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals or quotes may render your proposal or quote non-responsive and result in the rejection of same.
