- This corrected synopsis is issued to correct the description of supplies for the 10 Station Duplex only. The balance of synopsis remains unchanged. The United States Coast Guard Maintenance & Logistics Command, Atlantic intends to issue a Commercial Request for Quote (RFQ) for fuel manifolds. This acquisition is solicited as a Small Business Set-Aside. One (1) each 8 STATION DUPLEX MANIFOLD - Body - ASTM A216GR WCB cast steel body, 3 inch bottom connections, 4 inch end connections, 150 LB ANSI, two end connections on the same end, opposite end blanked off. Internals - ASTM 182 GR F6A CL 1, 150 LB ANSI, valve trim 13% CR steel, hand wheel operated. Dimensions - Centerline to bottom 7-1/2 inch, bottom connection centerline 8-1/2 inch, face of side connection to centerline of first bottom 7-1/4 inch. Manifold to be the same form fit and function as those shown in USCG drawing 618 WMEC-261-050 and one (1) each 10 STATION DUPLEX MANIFOLD Body - ASTM A216GR WCB cast steel body, 3 inch bottom connections, 4 inch end connections, 150 LB ANSI, end connections for the right and left-hand banks to be on opposite ends, opposing ports (without end connections) to be blanked off. Internals - ASTM 182 GR F6A CL 1, 150 LB ANSI, valve trim 13% CR steel, hand wheel operated. Dimensions - Centerline to bottom 7-1/2 inch, bottom connection centerline 8-1/2 inch. Face of side connection to centerline of first bottom 7-1/4 inch. Manifold to be the same form, fit, and function as those shown in USCG drawing 618WMEC-261-050. Delivery shall be fourteen (14) weeks after award for the above supplies. The Coast Guard intends to conduct this procurement in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Subpart 13. The NAIC code is 332911. The NAIC size standard is 500 employees. The simplified acquisition will be issued on or about October 6, 2003 with quotes due on or about October 13, 2003. The RFQ will be issued via the Federal Business Opportunity (FEDBIZOPS) web page at www.eps.gov. Hard copies of the drawings and quotation will not be issued. Applicable drawings will be uploaded with the quotation at www.eps.gov. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the FEDBIZOPS web page for RFQ release and all subsequent amendments. FEDBIZOPS also contains an optional automatic notification service.
