Description

The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, Hardware/Software Branch (AQSS31), Scott AFB, IL, intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Shane Gelling Co. 98 Prospect Ave., Sea Cliff, NY 11579, for the acquisition of equipment needed for an upgrade to an existing, stand-alone security system at DECC Mechanicsburg. The major components are a secure room IDS/EECS upgrade, JWICS Room IDS/EECS upgrade, secure door video surveillance system, and a parking lot video surveillance system. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1) only one responsible source. Companies who can provide this equipment and installation must indicate their interest in writing within 2 business days of this advertisement. Quotations or proposals received in response to this notice cannot be accepted since this synopsis cannot be considered a request for quote or a request for proposal All responsible sources will be considered for evaluating the determination to issue a sole source purchase order.
