- DESCRIPTION: NSN: 2815-01-094-1474. Cylinder Kit (500HP). Manufacturer?s Code and Part Number: Federal-Mogul Corp. (01212) FP-AR11909, Clevite Engine Parts Inc. (0B0B1) 226-1571, and Federal Mogul/FP Diesel (7U177) FP-AR11909. Quantity of 900 kits to be delivered within 90 days to Texarkana, TX (642 kits); Albany, GA (129 kits); and San Diego, CA (129 kits). All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. See Notes 12, 13, and 26. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on its issue date of 10/22/03. The Small Business size standard is 1000 employees. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. Proposed procurement contains a 100% option for increased quantities. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Approved sources are: Federal-Mogul Corp., Clevite Engine Parts, and Federal Mogul/FP Diesel. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
